AU KINGCARE + BLAIRSOM · MELBOURNE

From local ideas
to global conversations.

I participated in the Australia & Asia Go Global Expo at WTC Melbourne with AU KingCare and Blairsom, meeting people working across innovation, trade, and commerce.

My LinkedIn reflection connects that experience to a bigger brand story: the potential for Victorian ideas, quality products, and collaboration to reach a global audience.

The process / How I work

Creative instinct.
A considered plan.

I start with the customer and the commercial goal, then connect research, creative decisions, and coordinated delivery.

01Understand the customer

Study customer behaviour, preferences, and the market. Prepare a clear view of what people respond to and where the brand has a useful opportunity.

02Give the work a direction

Turn the findings into a practical brief: the positioning, product story, packaging direction, or campaign idea. Give each asset a purpose for the customer and the business.

03Create & coordinate

Work with clients, designers, and sales teams to organise materials, schedules, and approvals. Keep the message consistent across packaging, social, email, presentations, and events.

04Measure & refine

Review customer response and campaign performance, prepare reports, and turn the findings into the next action — from a content change to a new market or brand opportunity.

05 / The person behind the work

Thoughtful by nature.
Curious by default.

I’m Jen, a Newcastle-based marketing professional with experience across Australia and India. I work between strategy and execution: understanding customers, shaping brand materials, and coordinating the people and details needed to deliver.

At AUcare / AU KingCare and Blairsom, my work has included positioning, packaging, B2B marketing, sales support, research, campaigns, and reporting. At Hawala Ventures in India, I coordinated international accounts, creative teams, content approvals, launches, and trade-event materials.

Across markets.

PCA Companies · New York / US market activity

The context

an opportunity.

Prevention Australia Beauty Awards · 2025

Blairsom’s Prevention Australia Beauty Awards Winner 2025 badge

My contribution

I identified the Prevention Australia Beauty Awards 2025 as an opportunity for Blairsom as part of my work researching opportunities for the brand.

Why it matters

Opportunity research connects a product range with relevant places to be seen and recognised. It complements campaign delivery by looking for new ways to support brand awareness and customer consideration.

Brand recognition

The supplied winner badge represents Blairsom’s recognition in the 2025 awards. My contribution was identifying the opportunity.

Case study 01 / Blairsom

From product to
personal ritual.

Australian personal care · Positioning, packaging, customer insights & campaigns

Blairsom lifestyle brand imagery

The brief

Build awareness and engagement for a natural personal care range while supporting e-commerce and repeat purchases.

My contribution

The thinking behind the work

Customer preferences give the product story a direction. Packaging and brand assets establish how the range is presented; content and email then carry that same story into everyday product use and repeat purchase.

Reported outcomes

30% higher customer engagement through UGC-led campaigns and 15% higher repeat purchase rates through retention-focused content and email marketing.

Brand context

The supplied Instagram profile screenshot shows 10.3K followers and 128 posts for @blairsom_au. The content grid includes product photography, lifestyle content, educational posts, and Reels. The October 2025 presentation separately reports 10K+ followers across Instagram and Facebook; these snapshots cover different dates and scopes and are not a direct growth comparison.

Role and outcomes: supplied Jen Sebastian portfolio. Brand imagery: Blairsom Presentation, October 2025. Account context: supplied Instagram screenshots, September 2026. Reporting periods and analytics exports were not supplied.

Case study 02 / Auscare Group

Making every
click count.

AU KingCare & Promagic · Customer insights, packaging, paid media & reporting

The brief

Support awareness and sales for Australian dairy and nutrition brands by connecting website content, advertising, and performance reporting.

My contribution

Reported outcome

Reduced Amazon advertising cost of sales from 42% to under 13% through targeted campaign optimisation. ACOS measures ad spend as a share of attributed advertising sales; a lower percentage indicates less ad spend per dollar of attributed sales.

Social content in practice

The supplied AU KingCare Facebook grid shows a mix of product information, seasonal campaigns, and promotional content, including World Milk Day, Mother’s Day, Earth Day, and Easter.

From reporting to action

Performance reporting helps connect creative decisions to the customer journey, with lessons from paid campaigns informing content priorities and future campaign planning.

Role and outcomes: supplied Jen Sebastian portfolio. The ACOS result is specific to Amazon advertising; it is not a social engagement metric. Reporting periods and analytics exports were not supplied.
